What is Camgoo..?
Of all your favourite PC games, one thing’s for sure: you control the game or character with your mouse, joystick or keyboard – but in Camgoo it’s completely different!
Avoid any need for those old, more traditional controllers – Camgoo brings your own body movements to life, as each player in turn is captured via webcam and cast into the virtual world of Camgoo. Taking the role of hero in the game’s six individual scenarios, you control all the action with your own increasingly accomplished, eager moves.
Best played with a group of friends, Camgoo is the first PC based title of its kind to offer a truly active approach to game playing – simultaneously challenging gamers young and old, from both a physical and mental perspective.

The games:
In this first thrilling game, you have to defend your pot of gold treasure from nasty pirates – use your hands and feet to drive the nasty old pirates back!
In this classic football game, you have to manage as many ‘keep-ups’ as possible – but be aware of certain surprises that could get in the way of setting that new world record. Whether you’re fresh to the challenge or a seasoned pro, Keepie Uppie will be match enough for everyone!
You’re in the control room of a spaceship when enemy robots plan an invasion, trying to beam in your ship! Fight to keep the robots at bay – only be careful not to harm your own backup beam at the same time : a classic ‘whack a mole’ style action game.

Do you feel the groove? Your task here is to keep the rhythm tight by touching various sound symbols. The better you perform the more elaborate the song gets, from basic rhythm track to some truly funky music. Genres included: Dance, RnB, Hip Hop, Rock and House.
In this simple but addictive game, your apparently easy task is to collect gifts – but be careful, not every box contains something nice!
Thrust into the middle of the screen and under attack by small biplanes, you have to kick-box to fight off your attackers and protect your new love – a damsel in distress, found hanging on the edge of a skyscraper. Such double trouble demands everything from you in this crazy fighting game.

How does Camgoo work… ?

Simply connect a webcam to your PC, fire up Camgoo and let the fun begin! Camgoo’s intelligent motion detection engine will quickly scan you into the computer, allowing your body movements to then control all 6 games – using your head, legs and arms! Once started, you simply won’t believe the thrill this new kind of gameplay will bring.
Tips:
Don’t forget to adjust the focus of your webcam. Make sure you are clearly visible on screen. Since Camgoo is a fun action game, please bear in mind that you’ll need plenty of space around you (we recommend approx. 2 meters) to really get into the spirit of things – not to mention, avoid hitting anyone or anything! Also, as the motion detection engine is programmed to scan movements of your body, make sure there are no significant movements behind you during the game (such as your friends, parents or pets!), since these may well affect your final score!
