03 Dec 09 Left 4 Dead 2 2.0.0.3
A new patch has been released for Left 4 Dead 2, and I believe it is required if you wish to play over Garena. I’ve used it on my Globe@ Full Rip of Left 4 Dead 2 and it works, so I’m guessing it will work for any other releases.

Next, download Stryder’s Loader from one of these links:

When both are downloaded, run the patch. It will ask for your Left 4 Dead 2 folder. Choose your L4D2 directory (..Program Files/Left 4 Dead 2 etc) The patch will then install. When it is finished, run the Stryder’s Loader program. It will also ask for your L4D2 directory. Choose your directory and install it. When it is finished, go to your L4D2 directory and there will be a file called IniGen.exe. Double click it and a white command box will pop up for a second or so and disappear. Now, you can double click left4dead2.exe and run the game! You can also use Garena to play multiplayer.
You can check if it has worked properly by running the game and typing version into the console.
Note: I don’t take credit for the Patch or Stryder’s Loader. I simply just uploaded it!
